Documentary film following several protagonists in Srebrenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina, exploring how the legacy of the 1995 massacre shapes their everyday lives.
The film follows members of the organization “Friends of Srebrenica” and local voices, combining personal stories with broader social and environmental issues.
Shot over a 14-day period across two shooting blocks, following a classic observational documentary approach. Worked with small cameras to maintain a low on-set presence and allow for quick, flexible responses in sensitive environments. Filming relied entirely on available light, adapting to real-life situations and maintaining a natural presence with participants.
Focus on building trust with protagonists and capturing authentic moments without interfering with the situation.
Screened at dokumentART European Film Festival for Documentaries.
