Film following a Turkish woman in Germany, exploring everyday life, family dynamics, and personal autonomy.
Screened at international festivals including Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), Diagonale, and Max Ophüls Preis.
Developed the visual concept in close collaboration with the director, following a naturalistic, character-driven approach.
Shot entirely on location, with a focus on controlled lighting to maintain a realistic and intimate atmosphere. The cinematography is built around slow, continuous takes, with the camera moving almost imperceptibly through the apartment and settling into precise, composed positions.
This restrained camera language reflects the protagonist’s position within the family structure, supporting her emotional perspective through subtle movement and framing.
Shot on ARRI Alexa.
