Short film for Staatskapelle Berlin, produced for their 450th anniversary, re-framing a traditional orchestra within a contemporary, urban context.

The visual approach aimed to translate a classical subject into a more modern, editorial aesthetic, combining a stylized look with a documentary setup. Focus on placing the musicians within the city, creating a stronger connection between people, place, and atmosphere.

Natural light only — all scenes were scheduled around available light and sun position. Subtle camera movement was used throughout, combining zoom lenses and dolly work to create a controlled, fluid visual language.

Final deliverables included one main film and a series of eight short portrait pieces. Shot on location across multiple sites in Berlin over three days with a small crew.
